Our online store opens for pre-ordering on January 15th. We begin shipping on February 1st and process orders in the order in which they were received. We are a small company and run limited quantities seasonally. Foundroot sells at rotating conferences, events, and farmers’ markets every year. Our schedule can be found on our Find Us page. We close every fall on September 15th. Customers are encouraged to stock up early if there are certain varieties they rely on annually or if they would like to send seeds as holiday gifts. Gift certificates are available year round.
We do our best to anticipate the needs of our customers and have enough product to last the seed season. If we have run out of an item you have purchased we will contact you to let you know that item is on backorder. We will hold your entire order until that item is ready unless you specify otherwise. If items in your order are time-sensitive to stay on track for the growing season, we will contact you regarding alternative options. We will never substitute another variety without your consent.
All online payments are securely processed through PayPal which accepts all major credit cards, debit cards, online checks, and other convenient payment methods. If you are uncomfortable processing information online we are happy to take payment over the phone. All payments must be processed before orders are shipped. We only accept check or cash payment for in-person sales.
